Russian tourism execs having fun in Boracay

Some 34 Russian tourism executives are currently experiencing fun in this resort island according to the field office here of the Department of Tourism (DOT).
Tim Ticar, DOT-Boracay officer in charge, said the Russian tourists arrived here on Jan. 29 and will be staying until February 7.
"Their coming to Boracay is part of the relentless campaign of the DOT of promoting this resort island around the world. The Russian tourists ranks fifth of the highest foreign tourists arrivals registered in 2012," Ticar said.
The group is accompanied by Pearly Merrales, an accredited Russian speaking tour guide based in Metro Manila, and Bobby Casimero, an accredited tour guide of the DOT in Western Visayas.
"The Russian tourists experienced the famous island hopping and sea sport activities, enjoyed the night life, spa and massage including a day tour and shopping at local souvenir shops," Ticar said.
