Celebrity signs with Hollywood agency owned by a Kalibonhon

KALIBO, Aklan- A celebrity anchor in the United States of America, has signed a contract with Legacy Entertainment, based in Hollywood, that is owned by a native Kalibonhon. Christian Mecurio Bables, in his Instagram post, said he signed a contract with Legacy in the United States. Aside from Legacy, he also signed up with Breaking Hits and ASAP, an entertainment hub of ABS-CBN. “Thrilled for what’s ahead and excited to reach heights with you, Legacy Entertainment, Breaking Hits, and ASAP!” Bables said. Legacy Entertainment in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, is owned by Maria Damian, who hails from Barangay Estancia, Kalibo. “I’ve been receiving a lot of DMs, asking if I’ll be moving here for good,” the actor further said. Bables said he will still work with Philippine agency KreativDen. “I still am, and forever will be, an actor of the Philippines for as long as I am needed,” he said.I will continue to share my love and passion for the craft under @kreativden.” Bables was declared Best Leading Actor at the 5th Hanoi International Film Festival for his character “Intoy” in the movie Signal Rock. He was also given a Best Supporting Actor Award at the Gawad Urian Awards for his trans woman character “Barbs” in the movie Die Beautiful.
