A stronger ASEAN Cooperation is seen during the third ASEAN Chief Justices Meeting held at the Shangri-La Resort here Monday.
Philippines Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno said that among the topics discussed is how to fast track cases involving children whose parents come from different ASEAN countries.
The conference Monday was closed door as the media were not allowed to enter the conference venue. It was learned that among the concerns expressed by the delegates were the different traditions and culture of the ten ASEAN countries.
Sources who requested anonymity but are privy to the conference said that a proposal has put in the agenda the discussion on the clear territorial boundaries of different ASEAN countries.
The said meeting was presided by Chief Justice Sereno with the Philippines as the host country.
