and a new 5,000 room hotel in Boracay.
“Before I
leave the province, the Manila Ocean Park has expressed interest in putting up
an oceanarium while the San Miguel Corporation has pledged to build a hotel

oppurtunities in the province of Aklan,” he said.

who will be leaving the provincial seat soon, said that more investors for
Boracay are in the offing.

who is in his last term as governor, is seeking election as first nominee of
the reelectionist Kasanga Party List in the forthcoming 2013 elections.
He also
bared that although it is two months away before December, Boracay has recorded
920,000 visitors for this year. This means that this resort island is just
short of 80,0000 to reach its one million mark for its target number of
tourists for the year 2012.
Because of this, the Aklan provincial government had extended its target to 1.2 million tourists for this year.
